Last Wednesday, my sister-in-law left money to me for her due payment in Avon. Since my training center was near to Avon, so it’s easier for me to drop by there. Suddenly in the middle of my class, I just remembered that the money was left at home. I packed my things in my bag right away and then I left. Of course I asked permission to my trainers.
My co-trainees were wondering where would I go but I told them that it was really emergency. It so happen that I also left my keys inside the house. How could I get in there to get the money when Ate Karen was not yet at home and my brother was at his work also? My best option is to borrow the keys from my brother; again the problem is I don’t know where he is working! I went to his office without knowing where the exact landmark is. I was so pressured because I only got two hours left before the Avon will be closed and I have to travel for about one hour to get there. When I saw the signboard of my brother’s office, I asked someone working along the street where their office is. The guy pointed a different building in which I have to walk about 80 meters more. I got confused cause I thought he was working in the same company as my brother’s. When I reached there I realized that it was a different company. So I went back to that building where I saw the signboard. With all of my confidence, I get inside right away even I was still unsure if it is really the right one. The good thing was I saw right away the familiar faces of my brother’s co-workers. And finally, I got the keys! So I rushed to the house then get the money and ride a jeepney going back to the main city. It took so long for me to travel because it’s time for traffic! And it was also raining! 40 minutes left before the Avon will be closed. I always put in my mind that it was a great adventure for me and not freaky to ruin my day. I realized that I should always check my things if it’s complete before I’ll left. And handle pressure properly, not to panic.
Plastic surgery make patients feel better. Studies have shown that people report increased satisfaction with the body part they had surgery on, but results are mixed on whether plastic surgery boosts their self-esteem, quality of life, self-confidence and interpersonal relationships in the long term.
Asians had more than 276,000 cosmetic plastic surgery procedures in 2004, an increase of 24 percent from 2000. Asians made up 3 percent of all cosmetic plastic surgery procedures in 2004. The most commonly requested surgical procedures are nose reshaping, eyelid surgery, and breast augmentation. The most commonly requested minimally-invasive procedures are Botox, injectable wrinkle fillers, chemical peel, and microdermabrasion.
Most people are motivated to undergo cosmetic surgery because of body-image dissatisfaction, says Susan Thorpe, a lecturer in psychology at the University of Surrey in Guildford, Surrey, who conducts Texas plastic surgery research.
In 2004, about 240,682 cosmetic procedures were performed on patients 18 years old or younger, and the top surgical procedures were nose reshaping, breast lifts, breast augmentation, liposuction and tummy tucks. However, very few studies have been conducted to examine the safety and long-term risks of these procedures on adolescents–an age in which teenagers are still developing mentally and physically, Zuckerman says.
Everyone has different, unique facial features and bone structure, which greatly influence the outcome of any procedure. Applying a European or other “standard of beauty” to ethnic patients may produce inconsistent results that are not harmonious with other facial features.
People seek plastic surgery for a variety of reasons: improved self-esteem, change in a perceived flaw, or to reverse the effects of aging, pregnancy, or massive weight loss… While many things may affect results, it’s the experience, decision-making, and expertise of the surgeon that plays the biggest role in ensuring a favorable outcome…Choosing a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery is an essential step to ensure the best training and credentials.Plastic surgery is a general term for operative manual and instrumental treatment which is performed for functional or cosmetic reasons. The word “plastic” derives from the Greek plastikos meaning to mould or to shape; its use here is NOT connected with modern plastics. Cosmetic is the beauty the art of beautification.
Plastic surgery could be broken down into two fields. Reconstructive or Cosmetic surgery.
Reconstructive surgery, including microsurgery, focuses on undoing or masking the destructive effects of trauma, surgery or disease. Reconstructive surgery may include closing defects with flaps—that is, by moving tissue from other parts of the body.
Cosmetic (or aesthetic) surgery is most often performed in order to change features the patient finds unflattering. In many cases, however, there are medical reasons (for example, breast reduction when orthopedic problems are present).
Doctor Freund, is leading among the Washington DC cosmetic surgery doctors by New York magazine-candidly discusses all of the risks and rewards involved, different operating procedures and options, the right and wrong reasons to have surgery, choosing the right surgeon, pre- and postoperative care, and what to do if a procedure goes wrong in his book Cosmetic Breast Surgery.
MOST of Dr. Joseph Broujerdi’s patients, turn to him for a little cosmetic nip ‘n’ tuck or a more extensive facial reconstruction following an accident. They may not realize that a growing side practice for the Beverly Hills plastic surgeon is working with a medical colleague in developing the relatively young field of sleep medicine.
It is really hard to look at Northern Virginia face lift surgeon. There are physicians who are presently practicing plastic surgery, who have not completed the formal requirements of an approved residency. This is not to say they are not “good” physicians, surgeons or plastic surgeons. Yet today the most common way to acquire the knowledge and skill to be a plastic surgeon is through a formal training program of 2 to 3 years specific to plastic surgery after many years of basic SURGICAL training. Plastic surgery under challenging conditions means practising this specialty under difficult circumstances. The environment in which the surgery has to be performed may be unfamiliar and challenging; the working conditions may be poor; the disorders encountered may be far removed from the conditions seen in one’s home country; and the range of procedures to be performed may be vast (hand surgery, burn scar revision, orthopaedics and traumatology, maxillofacial surgery, etc.)
Also, anything a doctor does should be humanitarian, regardless of where in the world the treatment is being provided. There is no need for a surgeon to go on a mission in order to do humanitarian work. Humanitarian plastic surgery is being performed in France, day in, day out, by plastic surgeons. We can be humane without engaging in “humanitarian” work. Oddly, though, it is also possible to do engage in a humanitarian exercise without being humane: some “volunteers” appear to see humanitarian work as an opportunity to travel, rather than as an opportunity to help human beings in distress.

Some people’s emotions have a really big effect on how they think they look. People who are depressed, extremely self-critical, or have a distorted view of what they really look like sometimes think that changing their looks will solve their problems. In these cases, it won’t. Working out the emotional problem with the help of a trained therapist is a better bet. In fact, many doctors won’t perform plastic surgery on teens who are depressed or have other mental health problems until these problems are treated first. One of my highschool classmates named Tessa suffered for discrimination because of being obese. I could remember one time when she shared to me all her problems…most especially about the way she looks…she even told me that if only she had enough money, she was really eager to have a plastic surgery in San Francisco. She knew there are good surgeons there because her aunt underwent to plastic surgery too.
Right now I can’t wait to see her again with her sexy body…^__^
There’s one thing I realized…
Getting in good shape through appropriate weight control and exercise can do great things for a person’s looks without surgery. It’s never a good idea to choose plastic surgery as a first option for something like weight loss that can be corrected in a nonsurgical manner. Gastric bypass or liposuction may seem like quick and easy fixes compared with sticking to a diet. Both of these procedures, however, carry far greater risks than dieting, and doctors should reserve them for extreme cases when all other options have failed.
Lisa is 23 years old now and have a great career as a Creative Director for an advertisng agency. She have hated her nose since she was 13. She never had a trauma to her nose, although it looks like she did! She was pending surgery for the past 2 years. She saved up all of her money from all her jobs just to get the surgery. Finally the day came when she had enough in my bank account to start looking for Plastic Surgeons. She was recommended a couple, and found others on the internet. She went for about 6 consultations with 6 different surgeons, and finally found the one she wanted to do her surgery. Dr. Funt and his staff where wonderful, being that she and her mother were a pain in the behind. But arent we all? She was so excited that she was finally living her life long dream. But the reality really set in about one week before surgery. She went on a site called Rhinoplast4You and it helped her so much! After she went through with rhinoplasty, she looks awesome today.

I’ve seen very nice models of Toyota of San Diego. My highschool friend wished to buy toyota cars. He loves to collect models of Toyota. One of his collection was the picture above. I hope he could bring them all back here in the Philippines. There would be no problem because I know he is very rich. By the way his name Cyruz. He’s one of my closest classmates wayback year 2003. He shares a lot of jokes that is why I could always remember him each time I saw Toyota cars. Currently, he is now staying in San Diego. I hope we can meet soon in our batch reunion. I miss him!
I recall during our highschool days, Cyruz was very very funny in our campus. He’s well known in our batch because of his attitude. He is childish but funny. He is always “pasaway”…I mean he is always been sent to our prefect of discipline because of his bahavior. He always ask me to let him copy my answers during exams. I know he had difficulty in academics…and he can’t really make it by himself. So in return of letting him copy, he would let me lend his money everytime I don’t have allowance anymore. Hahahah…anyway he is rich. He don’t mind of the money as long as he gets what he wants. That’s why I couldn’t forget him. And one thing I hate about him is his being “bastos”. He always share about “ex” thing…like phornos..masturbating…and many more.. But in general he is a good guy. He’s also a little bit good looking that’s why many girls who’s after him. Well I think I already share a lot about him..and if he will have a chance to read this blog, I’m sure he would hunt me….hahahah…anyway, till here na lng. Hehehe…
Rich means a lot of money, famous mean you are very popular and admire by everyone. Rich can use money to get almost everything(as long as that thing is existing in this world then you got CHANCE to get it). It can keep ur life longer. You can always do body check and can cure any ‘disease’ in your body bfore ‘times up’. The more rich you are, the more chance you can be a famous person. Just like George Lindemann…he’s a famous multibillionaire…indeed he is rich! there are many advantages and disadvantages of being famous. However, I strongly believe that being rich and famous at the same time is really important because without these actors, singers, authors and so on, our lives will be extremely dull, old fashioned and probably like they were in the Stone Age! People these days are craving to become rich.
But for me…being rich is being happy.
Happiness is relative. It’s something everyone struggles with. If you’re rich you won’t be happy until you’re super-rich. If you’re poor, you won’t be happy until you’ve moved up to something in the middle. It cuts across economic and social classes. No human can avoid it.
Is Happiness just satisfaction? Complacency. The lack of desire for something more. Can anyone really be content? Is happiness just a device that we broadcast without truth?
Sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever be truly happy. I’m hard wired to simply never be entirely satisfied. I always want more, not in a material way, just more from myself. More responsibility, bigger things, all trying to make a bigger impact.
I try to remind myself frequently to sit back and “smell the roses.” This usually comes at some point during a bike ride along the Bay where it hits me. In that moment of realization I’m happy. Is happiness just that brief realization and nothing else? I quickly return to the complexity inside me where I hyper-analyze the world around me and the concerns, fears and insecurities it can bring.
Doing this startup is exactly where I want to be. I’ve never gotten so much done as I have in the past month. At the same time my expectations are high and we are setting the bar way up there for what we want to do. It’s risky, a little bit insane and completely on us to accomplish.
I wouldn’t be satisfied doing anything else. I wouldn’t be happy. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m not exactly sure what happiness really is but I definitely know what makes me unhappy. In the end, that’s really all you can base things on.
Facelift is to tighten the skin and muscles of the neck, and eliminate jowls from around the mouth. The skin of a young person’s neck adheres to the tight underlying muscles, but with age the muscles become lax, and the skin becomes loose, leading to the appearance of a “turkey neck”.
To restore a young look to the whole face, a brow lift or eyelid surgery and facelift can be combined in the same procedure. This gives all the benefits of a more youthful appearance.
A common misconception about the facelift is that the procedure affects the whole face. The facelift should really be renamed a neck lift to more appropriately reflect what the procedure does. During a facelift, loose skin from the neck is removed and the underlying muscles are tightened. This restores definition to the neckline, and eliminates jowls from around the mouth in the process. The overall result is a young looking neck and face, with newly tightened skin and muscles.
Many artists nowadays are having facelifts to look younger. Does anyone hears about Los Angeles Facelift? One of my friends has been asking me to try facelifting because I looked so stressed and like an old lady at my young age. I hate her of telling that to me but anyway I think she’s right. But is it expensive?
