During our over-night visit to my husband’s family’s province, my kids did really enjoyed their little advneture with nature. Used to the city life, they had the fun of their lives especially their experience in the river.
My daughter who was the more observant one uttered a remark on the fresh air she breathed in the province and with a sigh she said that if she could only bring the air in our house then she would be very happy and Red, her little brother would no longer have asthma attacks.
I was touched by her great concerns over her little brother and then I pondered she was after all right since we no longer enjoy fresh air in the city. Yes, if we could only bring this fresh air inside our home then maybe these kids would be really free of the illness brought by pollution.
These days, it is relly possible to bring that fresh air inside our home with EcoQuest International. With their products one would really feel that he is enjoying the fresh air in his very own home.
And I wish I could have this too in my house.
Last night, while having our nocturnal session, that is talking in the bed after we said our prayer, I asked my kids what they want for Christmas.
My daughter has also already expressed her wish during an activity in their school wherein they were asked to draw the things they want to receive on Christmas. She wrote the words “for kitchen”and drew small plates fork spoon and knife, stove, refrigerator and just everything what she sees inside the kitchen. She actually wants a kitchen set toy.
And when I asked her what else does she want, she said books, many books, particularly that Bible for Children with illustrations on it.
The boy said he wants “Deal or No Deal” That gave me and my daughter a quizzical look. And when we asked what that was.
He said “blifcase.” He means “briefcase.” And explained in a language where his bigger sister is the only one who could interpret to us.
So that according to him, when he dances the Deal of No Deal dance along with the 26 K , he could have a briefcase, too.
Now, that somehow irked my husband a bit and he said that is for girls. And so he added that he wants to have a toy car and toy gun too.
Well he could have the toy car but not the toy gun and as for the briefcase, I am still contemplating on it unless he would say that he is the banker.
My daughter asked me one more thing about the things I really want if someday we will become rich.
Well, I don’t want to send wrong messages and so i just told her that being rich is not totally what makes a person happy. It is not the material things that one possesses but the most important thing is for us to stay together always and that we will have good health.
She on the other hand insisted on asking me the things I wanna do. And so maybe travel around the world with Dad and with them.
Well, she said as if some kind of a fairy godmother, “Well, your wish will come true.”
I secretly laugh and have almost said out loud, ” I want to have a plastic surgery in Seattle, too, when I get older so I will stay attractive in Dad’s eyes.”
But I just hold my tongue this might lead to another discussion.
