Pork Adobo

Got this recipe from TOINKY

INGREDIENTS
1 kilo pork picnic or side bacon belly (cut into
bite-sized cubes)
1 cup white vinegar
1 head garlic (finely chopped) portioned into two
3 pcs. laurel (bay leaves)
1/2 cup soysauce
1 cup water
1 teaspoon peppercorn
3 tablespoons oil

DIRECTIONS

In a deep skillet, brown pork in oil.
Add vinegar, soysauce, first portion of garlic, laurel, peppercorn and water.
Bring to a boil, lower the fire and cook uncovered for 10 minutes.
When it gets too dry just add 1/2 cup of water.
Cover and let simmer until pork becomes tender.
In another pan, cook remaining garlic until golden-brown.
Add pork and pour the rest of the adobo sauce.

Fruit Salad

Mandarin’s Fresh Fruit Salad, ahahahay…nakaka-miss ang lasa ng cream nila at syempre yung mga fresh fruits din noh….. ginugutom na ako habang ginagawa ‘to, ahihihi…

share ko dito on how to make a yummy and thick fruit cream, yun kasi nagpapasarap sa fruit salad….warning lang ha…madami ‘tong calories, aahahaha…

2packs of 250gms Nestle All Purpose Cream

1 can of Carnation Condensed Milk

Put all the ingredients in the fridge for 1-2 hrs. Then, mix together..let it cool in the fridge again (para super thick talaga) before you serve it with the fresh fruits….ahihi

ayun, happy eating!

Mango Daiquiri

I first tried this during my bf’s sister’s birthday party…wahh, at talagang nalasing ako..pano ba naman pina-ubos ng kanyang friend ang half ng pitcher ata yun sa akin…kakahilo kaya….kaya ayun..nagmukha akong nilasing na hipon..hahahaa….

Inorder ko ‘to uli sa Boracay, hahaha…ang sarap kasi konte lang yung alcohol na inilagay nila..so parang mango shake lang ang inorder ko pero lugi rin ako sa price noh…ahhahaha…akala ko nga d nako magmumukhang nilasing na hipon kasi konte lang ang alcohol pero….wahhhh…may red patches pa rin ako after…hahahhaa

o cge….I’ll share the recipe of this cocktail drink, here na ohhh!

1 oz dark rum
1/4 oz Orange Curacao liqueur
3 oz mango chunks
1 1/2 oz sweet and sour mix
Combine the rum, orange curacao, mango pieces and sour mix in a blender with one cup of crushed ice. Pour into a tall glass, garnish with a mango stick and serve.

GAMBAS

Ingredients

80 gms gambas
30 gms red bell pepper, julienned
1-1/2 tbsp garlic chili oil
1/2 tsp fine salt
1 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 tsp black pepper, ground
30 gms green bell pepper, julienned

For garnish:
1 tsp garlic, toasted
1 tsp finger chili, chopped

Directions

Slit gambas at the back part and devein. Saute garlic in garlic chili oil.
Add in gambas and bell peppers. Season with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle with toasted garlic and finger chili. Serve.

One of my fave food at Boracay :) We ordered at the Hobbit’s House, supah sarap nito as in….ang chalap talaga!

Seafood Kebab

Ordered this at Hey, Judes! You will need a lil dash of salt and pepper so it will be tastier :) This is so easy to prepare, just buy some skewers, then arrange all the different seafood on the stick with different spices..like bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, etc.

CORN SOUP

INGREDIENTS

1 (15 ounce) can cream style corn
1 (14.5 ounce) can low-sodium chicken broth
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water DIRECTIONS

In a saucepan, combine the cream style corn and chicken broth. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. In a small bowl or cup, mix together the cornstarch and water; pour into the boiling corn soup, and continue cooking for about 2 minutes, or until thickened. Gradually add the beaten egg while stirring the soup. Remove from heat and serve.

This soup is best with french bread :) sarap din pag tag-ulan, aahihihihi

Breakfast at Boracay

Had this during our Boracay trip last Aug. 15 :) It’s a bit pricey pero ok na rin kasi nabusog naman kami, ahihii..We ordered it at Gloria’s Kitchen, tabi lang ng resort kung san kami nag stay…sa Blue Waves! Anyways, so ano ba ang nasa larawan na yan…ahihii

Beef Tapa

We had this breakfast during our vacation at Boracay. It’s a bit pricey but it’s okay…We got it from Gloria’s Kitchen just beside the Blue Waves resort :)

Fried Rice, Beef Tapa, Fried Egg, Ripe Mango and a glass of tea/coffee

I miss Boracay already :(

Chicken Teryaki

Looks good, ayt? Masarap din ‘to noh….ahihihi!

We got it at B3, 3rd floor of NCCC Mall, Matina, Davao City :) Makuki and I were hungry and we decided to try their menu…Everything’s nice, service is really great, they gave us kropek and cold water while waiting for our orders, waaahhh technique daw nila yun para tumaas ang rate nila sa service (IE kasi si makuki dati, shhhhh) food tastes good hindi talaga totally the best ha, pero masarap na din :) place, medjo maingay lang yung mga hampas ng bola sa pins, bowling-an kasi yun eh…pero type ko na rin kasi wala masayadong tao, ahihihihi…try nyo na!

Fish Burger Steak

Got this from Lachi’s :)
It’s just P65.00 w/out drinks, ahihi…but I actually like the Unforgettable Pork Spareribs than this…..oohhh I wish I ordered it again yesterday:( pano ba naman medjo mahal ang unforgettable eh pero sulit naman sa sarap, ahihihihi

Visit Lachi’s at Ruby St., Marfori Subd., Davao City, near Values School….hay….sarap na naman maglunch don, ahihihi…don’t forget to order yung mga sweets nila…supah sarap talga…..pwamis!
