God is with us
‘A virgin will become pregnant and have a son, and He will be called Immanuel’ (which means, ‘God is with us’).”
Matthew 1:23
Who is Jesus? Some people say He was just a teacher; but we know He is the Son of God. His birth was foretold for centuries. Hundreds of years before Christ was born, the prophet Isaiah said “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
How could a child be born who would be called God? It could only be that God would become a man and live on this earth among us. And that is just what Jesus Christ did when He was born in Bethlehem over 2,000 years ago.
This same Jesus came to be our Savior and King and Lord. Let us worship Him today!
