September 18th, 2008 by dropbox

Christmas is on the air. It really amazed me hearing those christmas songs over the radio on the very morning and seeing christmas lights on the busy streets of the city. Where almost 98 days more to go to celebrate christmas and get together with other loveones.

I guess I have to prepare a list to buy gifts ofcourse. As early as this time, many reminds me of not forgetting them to give them some gifts.

It’s time for me also to fix my hair and buy party dresses coz I have too many parties to join whenever December comes. lol

It’s my time to say advance Merry Christmas to all!!

For the first time

September 16th, 2008 by dropbox

With me is my daughter the last time we watched the latest movie of the hot tandem between KC Concepcion and the handsome Richard Gutierrez. What a great venue where they shoot the movie in Santorini, Greece . It was really a perfect place for family bonding. The place is really cool to unwind and make the best out of it. The movie is really great even it was the first that KC doing the movie. It really runs in her blood that she’s really good in acting and doing some rare scene in the movie. It was a mix emotions watching the movie of young couples who separated for awhile and ended cool as they bring back each other’s arms from all hindrances in their relationship.

kc.jpg

After 2 hours of watching the movie , we proceed to snack area in Mandarin where they served lip-smacking foods that Kate love to taste it. Since I don’t bring cash in my pocket, I swiftly  charged it to my credit card . I just enjoy using my credit card eversince since it has low APR on balance transfer . Well, some great establishments also offers credit cards with low apr on balance transfer at this time so grab the opportunity to apply now.

While we ate our snacks, Kate was so happy sharing some good scenes of the movie that she watched. I observed her on the midst of the movie that she cried a little because of emotional feelings that KC disclosed.

It indeed fun while watching the movie with my one and only daughter. I am hoping that we could still watched another interesting movie again in  the future.

A marriage story

September 12th, 2008 by dropbox

Let me share you a marriage story:

 marriage.jpg

Marriage (Part I)

Typical macho man married typical good-looking lady, and
After the wedding, he laid down the following rules:

‘I’ll be home when I want, if I want and at what time
I want — and I don’t expect any hassle from you.
I expect a great dinner to be on the table unless
I tell you that I won’t be home for dinner.
I’ll go hunting, fishing, boozing, and card-playing
When I want with my old buddies, and don’t you
Give me a hard time about it.
Those are my rules. Any comments?’

His new bride said:
‘No, that’s fine with me. Just understand that there will be sex
Here at seven o’clock every night…whether you’re here or not.’

(DARN SHE’S GOOD!)

************ ********* ********* ********* *********

Marriage (Part II)

Husband and wife had a bitter quarrel on the day of their 40th wedding anniversary!

The husband yells, ‘When you die, I’m getting you a headstone
That reads, ‘Here Lies My Wife — Cold As Ever’!’

‘Yeah?’ she replies. ‘When you die, I’m getting you a headstone
That reads, ‘Here Lies My Husband — Stiff At Last’!’

(HE ASKED FOR IT!)

************ ********* ********* ********* **

Marriage (Part III)

Husband (a doctor) and his wife are having a fight at the breakfast table.

Husband gets up in a rage and says, ‘And you are no
Good in bed either,’ and storms out of the house.

After some time he realizes he was nasty and
Decides to make amends and rings her up.

She comes to the phone after many rings, and the irritated husband says,

‘What took you so long to answer to the phone?’

She says, ‘I was in bed.’

‘In bed this early, doing what?’

‘Getting a second opinion!’

(YEP, HE HAD THAT COMING, TOO!)

************ ********* ********* ********* **

Marriage (Part IV)

A man has six children and is very proud of his achievement.

He is so proud of himself, that he starts calling his
Wife,’ Mother of Six’ in spite of her objections.

One night, they go to a party. The man decides that it IS time to go home and wants to find out

if his wife is ready to leave as well. He shouts at the top of his voice, ‘Shall we go home Mother of Six?’

His wife, irritated by her husband’s lack of discretion,
Shouts right back, ‘Any time you’re ready, Father of Four.’

(RIGHT ON, LADY!)

************ ********* ********* ********* **

THE SILENT TREATMENT

A man and his wife were having some problems at home
And were giving each other the silent treatment.

Suddenly the man realized that the next day he would need his wife
To wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight.

Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece
Of paper,’Please wake me at 5:00 AM .’ He left it where he knew she would find it.

The next morning the man woke up, only to discover it
Was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight.

Furious, he was about to go to see why his wife hadn’t wakened him when he
Noticed a piece of paper by the bed. The paper said, ‘It is 5:00 AM . Wake up.’

Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.

************ ********* ********* ********* **

God may have created man before woman, but there
Is always a rough draft before the masterpiece.

Beautiful morning prayer

September 10th, 2008 by dropbox

A friend of mine from Dubai shared me this wonderful morning prayer. I always expect a message from her and so I’m gonna put here to let everybody read also:

sunrise6.jpg

Dear Lord, I thank you for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I’m blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness.

Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.

Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things.

Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over.. Let me continue to see sin through God’s eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing, and receive the forgiveness of God.

And when this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus’ example — to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It’s the best response when I’m pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can’t pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will.

Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those who are lost and can’t find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don’t know You intimately. I pray for those who will delete this without sharing it with others. I pray for those who don’t believe. But I thank you that I believe.

I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.

I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly..

This is my prayer.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Psalm 23

September 9th, 2008 by dropbox

A dear friend of mine forwarded me this message. I just want you to share this one and hope this would give you enlightenment while you are working and everywhere you may wish to go.

Here it  goes:

Psalm 23 (for work)

The Lord is my real boss, and I shall not want. He gives me peace, when chaos is all around me. He gently reminds me to pray and do all things without murmuring and complaining.

He! reminds me that He is my source and not my job. He restores my sanity everyday and guides my decisions that I might honor him in all that I do.

Even though I face absurd amounts of e-mails, system crashes, unrealistic deadlines, budget cutbacks, gossiping co-workers, discriminating supervisors and an aging body that doesn’t cooperate every morning, I still will not stop— for He is with me! His presence, His peace, and His power will see me through.

He raises me up, even when they fail to promote me. He claims me as His own, even when the company threatens to let me go. His Faithfulness and love is better than any bonus check.

His retirement plan beats every 401k there is!
When it’s all said and done, I’ll be working for Him a whole lot longer and for that, I WILL BLESS HIS HOLY NAME.

Hongkong trip

September 5th, 2008 by dropbox

Me and my buddies planned to have a one week trip vacation in Hongkong this year or maybe early next year as soon as everything would be fine with our schedule. That would be a great chance for us to unwind and sniff some unsullied atmosphere while roaming around the country. Most of my friends told me that visiting Hongkong along with your family is a perfect way also to make bonding with the kids while wandering around Ocean Park, Disneyland and other awesome place in Hongkong.

hongkong_harbor04.jpgPrior to our trip, I’ll make sure that things would be okay with my financial needs, our air ticket fee and other essential stuffs. But I’m pretty sure that I have to bring my most priority stuff while I am in the other country in order for me to fine safe without bringing big cash at a time while I am roaming around the city . My valuable credit card stuff is an essential stuff for me that I find it great using eversince I had it . Talking all about credit, you would really find comfy when you have it in your wallet always. That’s my great experience and it really helps me during emergency comes without no funds prior to the payday. One more thing, you can compare cash back credit cards, so consumers are more enjoyable using that stuff with lots of perks and bonuses in the future.

Just right now, I am saving money for that memorable event and for sure I have to bring also my digicamera for that remarkable events.

It’s my time to say…Hongkong here I come..

A very special love

July 31st, 2008 by dropbox

love.png

We’ll be having a bonding with my daughter this weekend to watch the block buster movie film of John Lloyd Cruz and Ms. Sarah Geronimo. Kate keep on asking me to watch this movie coz she already seen the full trailer on the tv and she find it good to watch it.

Well, the love team of this two teen stars really shines which started in “Maalala Mo kaya” and because many wants to see them in a film so finally they made it. I like Sarah very much. Being down to earth and simple are some traits that most of us like to her.

A  very special love movie is the first movie of Sarah and I am so happy that he’s leading man is the right choice. Well, John Lloyd is a good actor .

Congrats to you Sarah and John Lloyd for making your movie a hit maker one!

School days

July 14th, 2008 by dropbox

Since it’s school days, my kids woke up early as 6am for them to be ready for school. Time really passes quickly during morning so I really take time to move them fast to be able to for them not be late in going to school.

Their Dad also checks the car during the morning. Before car washing, he tried to see some of the parts of his car, the car seats and everything.

I am also preparing everything for them their meals, their snack time for school. After fixing everything, their dad is ready for them to send them for school. Sometimes, my kids teased their Dad to buy another car that is air-conditioned and close van type. Since our old unit wrangler type car is always on repair because of many years were using it. Dad really planned to buy a new one but we’ll just wait for the perfect time.

Kate really likes a more spacious car seats for her. She wants to feel comfortable to sit on a toddler car seat style. Also with his younger brother they really wants comfy enough especially during rainy days. Since our old car unit is open, it’s not really safe for them on rainy seasons.

I just want them to feel comfortable that’s the reason why we planned to buy a new one later when our budget is already enough to pay the new one comes.

Lunch break

July 1st, 2008 by dropbox

With the extreme heat of the sun outside really makes me exhausted while sniffing all those polluted gas of the jeepneys, dark and and annoying dust while I’m going back to the office.

We took our lunch with my officemates outside coz there’s nobody around here in the office to please so we preferred to go outside and took our lunch at Dimsum in Market basket Damosa. Well, the place is really good and relaxing. It’s new and nice rendezvouz for all the couples, buddies and lovers who wants to stay and take their meals.

After 15 minutes of taking our lunch, I quickly bid goodbye to my co-workers and take my time going to malls to pay my monthly obligations with my light and water bill, and pay some other pending bills.

I am really tired maybe because of the freaky heat of the sun that hits my skin and directly passed thru my entire body . Even I brought my umbrella with me, it is still quite irritating. But anyways, I got back to the office with safe and sound…
